How To Use Light Pads In A
Red LED Light Therapy Session
The future is here
Red light treatment has so far only been used in recuperative settings, such as medical spas and wellness centers. As more portable home appliances hit the market, not only is this technology becoming more accessible, but it is also getting more affordable. In contrast to many other health treatments, red light therapy may be used daily without concern for adverse effects, does not need invasive procedures, and seldom results in unexpectedly unpleasant side effects. These benefits make it an attractive alternative.
However, there are concerns over the proper use of the light pads included with the red-LED light therapy. The purpose of this section is to enlighten medical professionals on the therapeutic uses of pads.
Flexible pad technology from Contour Light generates both red LED light and near-infrared light, creating a distinctive lighting experience. Contour Light developed this method. It may be modified in some ways to match each patient’s specific needs, and it requires little work to set up and run. The majority of medical professionals can make their patients feel comfortable and at peace while using the Light Curve system on a massage table or similar surface.
Procedure
- After connecting the pads and masks to their respective ports, you must activate them by pressing the “ON” button above each port’s display
- The Contour Light features a mask that covers the chest and face, two bigger pads, and four smaller pads of varying sizes. Instruct the client to lay face-up on the massage table with cushioning under their hips and thighs to protect the back muscles. Place two big pads with the lighter sides facing up and the darker sides facing down on the table. The brighter sides must be facing up
- Wrap the smaller cushion over each individual’s upper arm and attach it with Velcro after placing the two remaining large pillows horizontally across their stomach and hips
